PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's basketball team return to Jadwin Gymnasium on Saturday, January 29, at 4 p.m. when it hosts Yale University.

Last Time Out
With assistance from four double-digit scorers, the Tigers overcame a nine-point deficit to win their 10th-straight game and move to 5-0 in Ivy League play after an 84-80 triumph at Dartmouth College, Saturday afternoon inside Leede Arena.

Junior Tosan Evbuomwan tied for the game-high with 19 points on 9-for-17 shooting, and also added a game-high four assists, along with a team-high seven rebounds. Junior Ryan Lanborg also scored a career-high 19 points, going 6-for-12 from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line, while senior Ethan Wright added his sixth double-double of the season with 17 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the field, 3-for-5 shooting from three, and a game-high 13 rebounds. Senior Drew Friberg chipped in 11 points, going 4-for-8 from the field, and 3-for-6 from deep.

As a team, Princeton went 33-for-67 from the field (49.3%) and 11-for-23 (47.8%) from behind the three-point line.

Through 18 Games
Princeton's 10-consecutive victories rank third in the nation for active win streak, its 11-consecutive home wins rank 19th in the nation for home win streak, and its five-straight conference wins ranks 22nd in the nation for active conference win streak.

The Tigers rank sixth nationally in three-point field goals per game (10.7), No. 8 in field goal percentage (49.4%), 11th in assist/turnover ratio (1.53), 16th in scoring offense (80.9), 16th in three-point field goal percentage (38.6%), T-18th in won-lost percentage (67.5%), and 28th in assists per game (16.4).

Evbuomwan leads the Ivy League in assists (5.4) and field goal percentage (53.6%), while ranking second in assist/turnover ratio (2.2), fourth in steals (1.6), sixth in rebounding (5.8), and seventh in scoring (14.9).

Wright ranks second in the conference in field goal percentage (49.2%), fourth in rebounding (7.6), fifth in three-point field goals per game (2.4), and eighth in scoring (14.5).

Senior Jaelin Llewellyn ranks fourth in the Ivy League in field goal percentage (46.1%), fifth in scoring (15.4), and eighth in assists (2.4).

Should Evbuomwan, or any Tiger, record a triple double, it would be the first in program history since assists were first recorded in 1974-75.

The Bulldogs are 9-9 on the season, and have a 3-1 record in Ivy League play. Most recently, Yale overcame Columbia, 83-72, on Tuesday, January 25, in New Haven, Connecticut.

Azar Swain leads the Bulldogs in points per game (19.7), and assists per game (1.9). Yale is led in rebounding (4.6) and blocks (0.8) by Isaiah Kelly, while Jalen Gabbidon leads the team in steals (1.3).
Princeton Athletics Attendance Policy Updates Through January 31
Princeton has announced it will be limiting spectators at indoor athletic events to Princeton students, faculty, and staff who are fully compliant with the University's COVID-19 protocols. This attendance restriction will begin immediately and extend through January 31.

Princeton Athletics will continue to work closely with University health and safety administrators to revisit welcoming back full spectator attendance for all winter events as soon as appropriate.
Guests who have previously purchased tickets to events scheduled from January 7-31 will automatically receive a refund for their purchase based on their original form of payment. If an event during this time is rescheduled for a later date, tickets for the original event will be honored accordingly.
